Nataliya Matejka, Esq.
Ever since she was a little girl Nataliya knew she wanted to be in the legal field fighting for justice. Little did she know her fight would divert from an interest in the FBI to opening a law firm- helping Landlords, with landlord tenant matters and Small Business Owners fulfill their dreams of success.
Nataliya was born in Ukraine and her family migrated as refugees seeking asylum from the KGP regime in the early 1990s fleeing to the United States. Nataliya grew up in a small town on the Puget Sound in Washington State. She married the love of her life and followed him to Mt. Pleasant, SC. Nataliya has been through many adventures and challenges in live making her a strong and committed Lawyer always trying to improve the lives of others!
A graduate of Charleston School of Law, Nataliya attended law school while raising four beautiful teenage daughters and running her property management firm. While at Charleston School of Law Nataliya served on the Student Bar Association as a Senator and founded the JD Heavy Weights, a trail competition between faculty and students. Nataliya was also a Board member of the CSOL Federal Bar Association and Christian Legal Society. Nataliya was an active member of Women in Law, Phi Delta Phi, and Second Amendment Association.
Nataliya has been a property manager for over two decades starting her career growing and managing an investor portfolio from zero to over 56 properties in 3 years. Nataliya coordinated the purchases, renovations, management and future sales of all properties. In 2013 Nataliya launched Family Owned Property Management and began managing many military and investor client properties across the Lowcountry having experience managing over 500 properties.
After Law School having her experience as a landlord and as a tenant has helped Nataliya to realize her passion in life is to serve others and all her mentors have inspired her to give back all that she got growing up. She uses her experience in building up one of the top Property Management companies in the Summerville area as she strives to help other Landlords accomplish the same gratification.
